After a 4-hour drive from Cairo, stopping halfway for a short break, you’ll arrive in Marsa Matrouh, one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful coastal cities. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast and a scenic drive along the Corniche before continuing another four hours, with another rest stop en route, to reach Fatnas Island. Here, you’ll savor Siwan tea at sunset before heading to your hotel for a well-deserved rest after the long journey.
Upon arrival in Siwa, your adventure truly begins. Head into the Great Sand Sea aboard a 4×4 Desert Safari Land Cruiser, where you’ll experience thrilling dune bashing, sandboarding, and a spectacular desert sunset accompanied by Siwan tea and snacks.
During the safari, you’ll also have the chance to swim in the natural salt lakes, located in the heart of the desert — a refreshing spot fed by water rising from 1,000 meters below ground.
